Act for Addaction film
Paper suits and paintbrushes, bicycles and buckets… these were just some of the tools used during Heineken’s latest fundraising activities…
Heineken are one of the industry leaders in promoting responsible consumption. With over 250 beers and ciders enjoyed by adults worldwide, they encourage responsible consumption through inspiring global marketing campaigns. So we were delighted when we were asked to help with their fundraising initiative.
Since 2005 Heineken have partnered with Addaction, the UK’s leading specialist treatment charity, to develop new initiatives to address alcohol misuse.
Working with Heineken and Addaction, we produced a film that focuses on the realities of alcohol misuse, the effect it can have on an addict and those close to them, and what Heineken, in partnership with Addaction, aim to do to tackle these problems.
This year, Heineken took their fundraising to a new level and recruited hundreds of employees from across the company to ‘Act for Addaction’. Some of the activities that took place during Addaction Week included the Management Team redecorating one of the Addaction Centres, a car wash, tombola and raffle, and ‘Pledge a Mile’ – cycling, walking and running with Heineken donating for every mile completed. Some employees clocked up extra miles by doing a 20-mile cycle along the Union Canal in Edinburgh.
We were there to capture it all and create a film that celebrates all their hard work!
